USE – CARE OF BRUSHES:

Absorb some water before using it for the first time so that it has the proper flexibility. Remove excess water by rotating the handle between your hands. As you paint, rewet the brush where needed. Keeping it moist will prevent the color from hardening in the bristles and unwanted streaks.

When you finish painting, hang your brush in a container of water, avoiding the bottom of the brush to touch. This step is important for the self-cleaning of the brush. The threads are specially treated and release the color. the next day almost all the paint will be gone. Rinse and you’re ready to paint again or store the brush! Ideally you can store the clean Cling Ons! your brushes in a container of water with the bristles hanging down and never touching the container. Cling Ons are designed to use and store moist. This feature contributes to a flawless finish without brush strokes. This also prevents the color from drying out and damaging your bristles. The life expectancy of a Cling On brush exceeds other brushes for this reason. When not in use, return brush bristles to water (tips only), do not fill your brush head or handle with water. Allowing the bristles to rest on the bottom of the pot can distort them, so use a Cling On brush holder or make your own. Start by using a jar with enough water and a clip to hold the handle so that the ends don’t touch the bottom of your container.

DO NOT remove the string at the base of the round and oval brushes. This helps the brush keep its shape.
