In all the movies Herbie a wonderful 1963 Volkswagen Beetle, which Walt Disney was inspired to make a movie, something happens but like any self-respecting superhero survives!The little cockroach was a hero of my childhood and the inspiration for this piece of furniture, which also survived several times to reach me. I made his “racing” stripes with my favorite color blue and painted 53. But for me, 53 is number 8 and symbolizes something else… Two “lying” circles symbolize infinity and power. One circle is believed to symbolize the Earth and the other the Sky. Eight is a beautiful round number that flows energy, has no beginning and no end… it has flow and exchange within it… as I want it to be…
I love this piece of furniture… I have envisioned it to be a nice piece of bathroom furniture and would like it to be appreciated, just like all my ‘wooden children’. Because I always wait for him to find the right person to connect with him…
